Toasters Deli is a locally owned and operated company proudly serving the Salt Lake City community for over 20 years. Founded by Enes Huskic, an immigrant from Bosnia who turned his passion for the food industry into a thriving business, Toasters Deli began as a small five-table shop on 151 West and 200 South. Enes's vision was to offer grilled, panini-style sandwiches crafted with unique recipes, featuring locally baked bread, fresh vegetables, and high-quality meats and cheeses. The commitment to fresh ingredients and friendly customer service quickly made Toasters a popular destination among Salt Lake's downtown workforce.

As the business grew, Enes and his wife Mubera broadened the vision to incorporate a European approach to the classic American corner sandwich shop. Over more than a decade, Toasters expanded from its humble beginnings to four deli locations across the valley. They not only offer their renowned gourmet sandwiches but also serve locally roasted coffee, breakfast items, and a selection of European candies. The Huskic family, including their children Denis and Alisa, remain actively involved in the business and take pride in serving high-quality food within a welcoming atmosphere.

Currently, Toasters Deli is seeking enthusiastic new team members who possess strong customer service skills, a great attitude, and a desire to grow within the company. The available positions focus exclusively on breakfast and lunch day shifts, with no evening or night shifts required. In addition to a competitive hourly wage ranging from $15.00 to $18.00 based on experience and motivation, Toasters offers many excellent benefits including tip sharing, employee discounts, health and dental insurance, and paid training. Employees are expected to be reliable, cheerful, and able to multitask efficiently while maintaining quality service. Applicants should be at least 21 years old, have the ability to communicate effectively in English, and be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends. While prior experience in a customer service role and familiarity with cash register operations are preferred, they are not mandatory. Physical requirements include the ability to lift between 10 to 55 pounds and the capability to stand for extended periods. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are also necessary for the role.
