Summit Hospitality Group Ltd. is a respected leader in the hospitality industry, providing exceptional food and beverage services through its various hotel and restaurant operations. Known for its commitment to quality and guest satisfaction, Summit Hospitality Group operates with a strong emphasis on delivering outstanding service, reflected in its core value that "Service is the Ultimate Amenity." The group fosters a welcoming environment for both guests and employees, with a focus on professionalism, attention to detail, and operational excellence. Summit Hospitality Group continuously seeks talented and dedicated individuals to join its team in delivering memorable guest experiences.

The role of Breakfast Host/Hostess at Summit Hospitality Group is critical to the morning operations of the food and beverage department. This position is responsible for managing and delivering a standard complimentary breakfast each day in strict accordance with branded policies and procedures. The Breakfast Host/Hostess position plays a highly visible role, requiring a high level of guest interaction and hospitality. The individual in this role must possess exceptional people skills, including the ability to train others quickly and efficiently, ensuring consistent service standards across multiple shifts.

A typical day starts early, around 5:00 am or 6:00 am, with preparation duties ranging from setting up coffee stations, heating pre-cooked frozen food such as eggs, meats, and carbohydrates, to arranging bakery and cold items like fruit and yogurt. Inventory control and waste management are significant elements of the job, demanding a focus on cost control while ensuring guest satisfaction. The host/hostess monitors food levels continuously, refreshes the buffet stations as necessary, and maintains cleanliness throughout the breakfast service area.

This role demands strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Coordination with supervisors and completing brand-required training ensures alignment with the company's policies and high operational standards. The Breakfast Host/Hostess must also adhere to food safety practices, manage food waste responsibly by discarding exposed food after service, and maintain a pristine service environment by cleaning dishes, countertops, floors, and guest areas.

Summit Hospitality Group offers both full-time and part-time positions for this role, providing flexible work schedules that include early mornings and weekends. Employees gain valuable experience working with major hospitality brands such as Marriott, Hilton, and Hyatt, which is preferred for candidates in this position. The company seeks individuals who can perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects (30-50 pounds), standing and walking for extended periods, and handling food delivery inventory.

Employment with Summit Hospitality Group also provides full-time employees with personal time, insurance benefits, and vacation time, highlighting the company’s commitment to employee well-being and work-life balance.
