Job Requirements

Food handler's permit required
Prior experience as a server in a restaurant café or hotel environment preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Ability and willingness to work a varied and flexible schedule including weekends days nights and holidays
Must tolerate prolonged periods of standing walking occasional kneeling bending and stooping
Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds as needed to carry trays of food
Must tolerate exposure to cleaning solutions

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Greet guests promptly warmly and courteously
Restock and clean condiment areas empty trash and recycling as needed
Prepare all food items according to instructions ensuring proper sanitation methods are used
Ensure food is presented in an appealing manner and according to brand or property standards
Bus clear tables in dining area to ensure a clean and inviting environment
Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions troubleshooting breakdowns maintaining supplies performing preventive maintenance calling for repairs
Assist with inventory counts and ordering as requested by management
Ensure all food handling safety and sanitization protocols are followed at all times
Promptly respond to guest with any additional request
Wash and clean any dishes used during service Clean kitchen area Rotate stock to ensure freshness and excellent food quality
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas service stations and workspaces
Complete pre- and post-shift responsibilities including stocking cleaning mopping floors cleaning service areas
Report any maintenance issues or damaged equipment
Maintain professionalism with coworkers and guests
Take orders accurately seek clarification on special requests and close transactions with the correct method of payment
Enter orders into the POS system ensuring special requests are noted accurately
Print closing reports and drop cash according to company guidelines
