Job Requirements
- must have excellent customer service skills and a stable work history
- must be able to work entire shift on feet at a quick pace
- must be flexible to work any shift as needed including weekends
- willingness to perform additional tasks as required
- wear hotel uniform in compliance with hotel standards
- maintain adherence to food safety and cleanliness standards
- anticipate guests' needs
- embrace and respect diversity and multicultural environment
- pass background screening for previous criminal history
- achieve at least 80% score on hotel reservation system test after training
Job Qualifications
- at least a high school diploma or GED
- preferably six months experience in a customer service or hospitality related field
- excellent customer service skills
- emotionally competent with the ability to manage disruptive emotions and impulses
- ability to stay composed and focused under pressure
- basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
- data entry experience
- knowledge of database management systems
- ability to speak guests' preferred languages
- ability to work flexibly on varied shifts including weekends
- background screening passed
Job Duties
- welcome guests to the lobby and breakfast bar
- provide fast and courteous service to ensure an enjoyable dining experience
- set up the hot "On the House" breakfast each morning according to franchise guidelines
- consistently interact with guests to deliver superior breakfast service
- communicate feedback to hotel management
- maintain food service quality and safety standards
- maintain a clean work environment compliant with county health codes and hotel quality assurance requirements
