Job Requirements

  • must have excellent customer service skills and a stable work history
  • must be able to work entire shift on feet at a quick pace
  • must be flexible to work any shift as needed including weekends
  • willingness to perform additional tasks as required
  • wear hotel uniform in compliance with hotel standards
  • maintain adherence to food safety and cleanliness standards
  • anticipate guests' needs
  • embrace and respect diversity and multicultural environment
  • pass background screening for previous criminal history
  • achieve at least 80% score on hotel reservation system test after training

Job Qualifications

  • at least a high school diploma or GED
  • preferably six months experience in a customer service or hospitality related field
  • excellent customer service skills
  • emotionally competent with the ability to manage disruptive emotions and impulses
  • ability to stay composed and focused under pressure
  • basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • data entry experience
  • knowledge of database management systems
  • ability to speak guests' preferred languages
  • ability to work flexibly on varied shifts including weekends
  • background screening passed

Job Duties

  • welcome guests to the lobby and breakfast bar
  • provide fast and courteous service to ensure an enjoyable dining experience
  • set up the hot "On the House" breakfast each morning according to franchise guidelines
  • consistently interact with guests to deliver superior breakfast service
  • communicate feedback to hotel management
  • maintain food service quality and safety standards
  • maintain a clean work environment compliant with county health codes and hotel quality assurance requirements
