Job Description
Daly Seven is a renowned hospitality establishment dedicated to providing guests with exceptional service and memorable experiences. Known for its warm ambiance and commitment to excellence, Daly Seven specializes in delivering an inviting atmosphere and high-quality dining options to travelers and locals alike. It prides itself on creating an environment where guests feel valued, relaxed, and at home, making it a preferred destination for breakfast and hospitality services. As part of its dedication to superior hospitality, Daly Seven emphasizes personalized guest interactions and meticulous attention to meal quality and service standards, ensuring every visitor begins their day positively and comfortably.
The role of a Breakfast Host or Hostess at Daly Seven is pivotal in shaping the guests' initial experience of their visit. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting a warm and inviting environment where guests can enjoy the complimentary breakfast service. This position demands a proactive approach to hospitality, with the host or hostess taking personal ownership of the breakfast experience to ensure every meal served is fresh, nutritious, and presented with care. Beyond simply serving food and beverages, the Breakfast Host/Hostess acts as the face of the hotel's morning service, setting a welcoming tone that influences the guests' overall perception of their stay.
This role involves initiating guest interactions with a friendly greeting, anticipating needs such as beverage refills, and providing clear information about the facility and local area. The Breakfast Host/Hostess must be attentive and empathetic, quickly addressing any inquiries or concerns to ensure complete guest satisfaction. Attention to detail is crucial, as it encompasses preparing and maintaining breakfast items, managing inventory levels, and upholding high cleanliness standards in all service and storage areas. Additionally, the Breakfast Host/Hostess plays an instrumental role in helping other departments when necessary and effectively communicating shift-related information.
Safety and security form an integral part of the responsibilities, with the host or hostess expected to be knowledgeable about hotel emergency procedures, assist in incident reporting, and contribute to the overall safety culture at Daly Seven. While ServSafe certification is preferred, it is not mandatory, making this role accessible to individuals with prior customer service or food service experience who are eager to deliver excellent hospitality and grow within the company. Physical capability to handle moderate lifting and move around the service area efficiently is also required. By joining Daly Seven as a Breakfast Host or Hostess, candidates become part of a dedicated team where their work directly impacts guest satisfaction and the establishment's reputation for quality and warmth.
