Job Requirements

  • Exhibits strong customer service skills including multi-tasking
  • Must be able to begin work by 5:30AM
  • Be outgoing and engaging with guests to ensure a great breakfast experience
  • Open to cross-training and assisting in other departments as necessary
  • Must be capable of high-quality food cooking and preparation each morning
  • Approved Food Handlers Certificate required

Job Qualifications

  • Valid Food Handlers Certificate
  • Previous experience in food preparation or breakfast attendant role preferred
  • Strong customer service skills including multi-tasking
  • Outgoing and engaging personality
  • Ability to work early morning shifts
  • Knowledge of Marriott Rewards program and hotel amenities
  • Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene standards

Job Duties

  • Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times
  • Prepare and cook breakfast foods on a daily basis following all Marriott required standards
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining area
  • Setting up and breaking down breakfast area including proper storage or disposal of any left-over items from breakfast
  • Keep all food items stocked organized and maintained during breakfast
  • Maintain organization and food safety standards of all food storage areas
  • Promptly effectively and empathetically assist with guest requests
  • Be very knowledgeable of Marriott Rewards program and promotions
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of hotel staff room locations and amenities of the hotel
  • Be knowledgeable of the local area including shopping entertainment and dining
  • Complete any other related task given by manager
