We are currently seeking an experienced Breakfast and Line Cook to join our dedicated kitchen team. This role is critical to our operations as it focuses on executing high-quality breakfast dishes with precision, speed, and an eye for detail. The successful candidate will be skilled in cooking eggs and managing the nuances of breakfast service in a fast-paced and high-volume setting. This position requires a candidate who is comfortable handling multiple tasks simultaneously, maintaining composure under pressure, and consistently adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.

The Breakfast and Line Cook will be responsible for setting up stations, preparing ingredients, and cooking dishes according to our menu specifications. They must operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, flat tops, fryers, and ovens. Additionally, the cook is expected to maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen throughout their shift and assist with restocking and prep tasks as needed. As part of the role, great presentation skills are essential to ensure all dishes are plated attractively and meet our quality criteria before reaching the customer.

This is a flexible role available for both full-time and part-time employment, with competitive pay ranging from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour based on experience, performance, and skill level. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience as a line cook or breakfast cook
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Physical ability to stand for long hours and perform kitchen duties
Flexibility to work full-time or part-time shifts
Strong communication skills
Ability to follow recipes and kitchen procedures

Job Qualifications

Proven experience as a line cook or breakfast cook in a busy kitchen
Expertise in cooking eggs, confident with high-volume egg orders and saut? technique
Familiarity with professional kitchen equipment, cutting tools, and cookware
Solid understanding of grilling, saut?ing, frying, boiling, and baking methods
Excellent multitasking skills and attention to detail under pressure
Ability to follow recipes and sanitation standards
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods

Job Duties

Set up and stock all stations with necessary ingredients, tools, and equipment before each shift
Prepare ingredients such as chopping vegetables, portioning meats, cracking and whisking eggs
Cook breakfast items focusing on eggs prepared in saut? pans including scrambled, over easy, omelets, and specialty brunch dishes
Operate grills, flat tops, fryers, and ovens efficiently and safely
Monitor food quality and cook times to ensure consistent execution
Plate dishes attractively and promptly for service
Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen throughout the shift
Properly store and rotate food products
Assist with restocking and prep as needed
