The Anchorage location, particularly the ESS Support Services Mining Camps based at 201 Post Road, is actively hiring dedicated full-time Bakers to join our committed culinary team. This role is central to our mission to provide excellent food service in mining camp settings, ensuring that every baked item meets our high standards for quality and consistency. This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate ranging from $20.00 to $23.00 per hour and requires employees to hold experience in baking as well as a current Food Worker Card. In this role, Bakers will be responsible for preparing a wide array of baked goods including breads, pies, cakes, cookies, and other pastries according to standardized recipes and catering orders. The job emphasizes precise execution of baking techniques and adherence to production specifications to maintain the superior quality for which ESS Support Services is known. Beyond baking, employees will assist in production planning, ensuring that daily baking goals are met efficiently. The role also involves maintaining thorough documentation related to production, such as waste tracking and inventory management, and requires constant communication with supervisors regarding supply levels and any production anomalies. Bakers are expected to uphold stringent food safety and sanitation standards, including correct handling and storage of food items, cleanliness of equipment, and adherence to corporate and OSHA regulations.
