We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Hotel Breakfast Attendant to join our team. This non-exempt on-site position primarily works mornings on Monday and Tuesday between 5:30am and 12:00pm, with additional shifts depending on hotel occupancy. The Breakfast Attendant plays a crucial role in welcoming guests and offering exceptional service during breakfast hours. This role requires setting up the breakfast area early to ensure a well-organized and inviting atmosphere. Responsibilities include arranging tables, chairs, buffet stations, and ensuring supplies such as dishes, utensils, napkins, and condiments are fully stocked. The attendant also prepares and arranges a variety of hot and cold breakfast items, including eggs, bacon, sausages, cereals, pastries, fruits, and beverages while maintaining freshness and cleanliness.

Engaging with guests is another important aspect of this role, requiring a warm and friendly demeanor to greet guests and assist with any questions or special dietary needs. Attentiveness in replenishing food items and beverages throughout service ensures a consistently appealing buffet. Maintaining cleanliness and adhering to health and safety regulations regarding food handling and storage are critical to providing a safe dining experience. The attendant also maintains records of food and beverage consumption and guest counts for operational reporting.

This role demands strong organizational skills, physical stamina to handle tasks such as lifting up to 35 lbs, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be customer-service oriented, with excellent interpersonal communication skills and a commitment to exceeding guest expectations. The position requires adaptability to handle various duties as assigned and participation in team meetings foster collaboration and continuous improvement. Certifications related to food safety may be required. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in food service or customer-facing roles preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs
  • Willingness to work morning shifts including Monday and Tuesday between 5:30am and 12:00pm
  • Ability to work on-site at hotel property
  • Ability to adapt to various duties including other tasks as assigned
