Job Duties

  • Ensures guest satisfaction by preparing breakfast daily according to operational policies and standards and maintaining a clean and sanitary environment
  • prepare and set-up breakfast items
  • greet and acknowledge guests as they arrive and initiate and engage in conversation
  • bus and clear tables and straighten chairs and properly arrange furniture
  • brew fresh coffee as needed
  • restock drink and food items and other supplies
  • maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area and keep it orderly
  • empty trash receptacles
  • engage with guests and thank them as they depart
  • clean all equipment and breakfast and kitchen areas
  • sweep and mop dining and kitchen area
  • properly store all unused drink, food items and supplies in accordance with health codes
  • inspect storage areas, fridges, and freezers for inventory counts
  • follow hotel operational procedures to ensure orders are placed for items below par levels
  • receive supplies, date and rotate stock
  • conduct product inventory, receive, and store orders
