Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds
basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitude

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
food handler's certification or equivalent food safety training preferred
experience working in a hotel or restaurant breakfast service environment preferred
bilingual abilities to assist a diverse guest population preferred
familiarity with point-of-sale systems or inventory management preferred
demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

Set up and replenish breakfast buffet items including hot and cold foods, beverages, and condiments throughout the service period
maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and dining utensils
greet guests warmly, respond to inquiries, and accommodate special dietary requests or preferences
monitor food quality and presentation, ensuring all items meet health and safety standards
collaborate with kitchen and housekeeping staff to ensure timely restocking and cleanliness
report any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages to management promptly
assist with closing duties such as cleaning and storing food items and resetting the area for the next service
