Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds
  • basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitude

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
  • food handler's certification or equivalent food safety training preferred
  • experience working in a hotel or restaurant breakfast service environment preferred
  • bilingual abilities to assist a diverse guest population preferred
  • familiarity with point-of-sale systems or inventory management preferred
  • demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Set up and replenish breakfast buffet items including hot and cold foods, beverages, and condiments throughout the service period
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and dining utensils
  • greet guests warmly, respond to inquiries, and accommodate special dietary requests or preferences
  • monitor food quality and presentation, ensuring all items meet health and safety standards
  • collaborate with kitchen and housekeeping staff to ensure timely restocking and cleanliness
  • report any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages to management promptly
  • assist with closing duties such as cleaning and storing food items and resetting the area for the next service
