The Breakfast Bar Attendant role at HHM is an essential position responsible for preparing and maintaining a welcoming breakfast bar area for hotel guests. This role is a unique blend of customer service, food handling, and housekeeping duties aimed at enhancing the guest experience. This position offers a growth pathway towards roles such as Restaurant Server, Guest Service Agent, Restaurant Supervisor, or Front Desk Manager, providing an excellent opportunity to build a career in hospitality.

In this role, the Breakfast Bar Attendant will carry food, trays, dishes, and silverware from the pantry to serving counters, set up appealing food displays, and maintain cleanliness and food safety standards. Responsibilities also include wiping tables and seats, scraping and stacking dirty dishes, cleaning spills, replenishing supplies and condiments, and ensuring beverage and ice dispensers are adequately filled. The role requires actively locating items requested by guests, polishing counters and furniture, vacuuming or mopping floors, and following the company’s safety and sustainability protocols. The attendant plays a vital role in monitoring guest satisfaction scores to help increase departmental and overall satisfaction.

Candidates for this position should have a high school diploma or equivalent, preferably with prior food and beverage experience or related training. Food sanitation certification is highly valued and required within 90 days of employment. The ideal candidate will embody HHM’s core values of People Are Our Capability, Hearts That Serve, Only Excellence, Stay Nimble, and Own It, consistently striving to provide outstanding service with a positive attitude. The position may require physical tasks such as standing for long periods, walking, lifting, bending, and crouching, and may involve working holidays and weekends, highlighting the dynamic nature of hospitality work.

HHM enriches its employees’ lives by offering competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, 401k company match, free basic life insurance, travel discounts, commuter benefits, employee assistance and wellness programs, professional development opportunities, and referral bonuses.
