The role of Assistant Morning Bread Baker is vital in maintaining the high standards and smooth operation of the bakery. This position involves working closely with the culinary team, including the Head Baker and Assistant Head Baker, to oversee specified production and service areas. The Assistant Morning Bread Baker will supervise commis and externs during daily preparation and service, ensuring that all food items adhere to the bakery's exacting recipes, portioning, and quality standards. They will coordinate daily schedules with fellow bakers and Chef de Parties to optimize workflow and prioritize tasks effectively.

Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment is essential in this role to uphold health and safety standards. The Assistant Morning Bread Baker is also responsible for overseeing inventory management, ensuring that all necessary ingredients and supplies are available at the start of each shift, and addressing any immediate needs or discrepancies.
