Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to work early morning shifts including one 4am start weekly
  • availability to work one weekend shift per week
  • physical ability to stand walk bend and lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
  • basic math proficiency
  • previous experience in bread baking or culinary arts preferred
  • reliable attendance and punctuality

Job Duties

  • Scaling mixing shaping baking cleaning and item development to meet production goals
  • following daily production schedules to prepare appropriate quantities of bread
  • assisting with seasonal menu changes and new item development
  • communicating production issues and needs to leadership
  • analyzing quality efficiency and timeliness to improve performance
  • maintaining knowledge of bread products to educate staff and customers
  • assisting lead baker in training new employees
