Job Requirements

  • Previous baking or culinary experience preferred
  • knowledge of bread making processes
  • understanding of food safety regulations
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • Previous bread baking or bakery experience preferred
  • knowledge of dough mixing and fermentation techniques
  • understanding of food safety standards and sanitation
  • experience with commercial kitchen equipment
  • strong attention to detail
  • ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • excellent communication skills
  • experience using dough sheeter and laminator

Job Duties

  • Mixing dough according to recipe specifications
  • shaping dough for various types of artisan breads
  • proofing dough under controlled conditions
  • baking breads to ensure optimal texture and flavor
  • maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards in the bakery area
  • monitoring inventory levels of baking supplies
  • assisting with inventory management and kitchen organization
