Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a bread baker or in a similar role
- Ability to work in person at the Nashville restaurant
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and handle baking equipment
Job Qualifications
- Experience in baking artisan breads and other bread products
- Knowledge of proper dough mixing proofing and baking techniques
- Ability to work in a fast paced kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Food safety certification is a plus
Job Duties
- Prepare and bake a variety of bread including artisan loaves rolls and specialty items following established recipes and procedures
- Mix doughs proof bread and monitor baking times to ensure perfect texture and flavor
- Package baked goods efficiently while maintaining presentation quality and food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area and equipment
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to meet daily production goals
- Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and notify management of shortages
- Adhere to health and safety regulations in all baking activities
