Job Duties
- Maintains a cheerful, courteous disposition and a neat, clean and professional image
- Responsible for proper equipment use including cleanliness, uniform standards, and verbal reminders during staff meetings
- Reviews production schedules to determine the variety and quantity of goods to bake
- Assembles supplies and equipment needed for daily baking activities
- Completes production sheets and other records as required
- Communicates effectively with Head Baker and purchasers to ensure ordering, inventory, and equipment needs are met
- Adheres to safety guidelines, cleaning, and repair protocols in the bakery and grounds
- Follows recipes precisely
- Promotes cooperative effort, team spirit, and good morale among employees
- Maintains composure under pressure
- Keeps immediate supervisor informed of problems or unusual matters
- Works flexible schedules including shift changes, opening and closing duties
- Assists other team members as needed or when business demands
