Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive culinary leadership experience
  • Experience managing high-volume, high-level culinary settings
  • Proven multi-unit brand leadership with a luxury hospitality background
  • Skilled in budget management and cost control
  • Experience in team development and training
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand, bend, walk, use hands and fingers regularly
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
  • Capable of operating in a physically demanding kitchen environment

Job Duties

  • Lead, train, and manage a kitchen team ensuring consistency in quality and adherence to recipe standards
  • Maintain hands-on involvement in daily kitchen operations
  • Implement training programs focused on recipe adherence, food safety, and culinary excellence
  • Develop efficient shift schedules to meet kitchen demands
  • Craft innovative, high-quality recipes and menus aligning with brand standards
  • Establish and enforce food quality standards through regular audits
  • Implement efficient kitchen procedures for food preparation, cooking, and presentation
  • Manage kitchen operations to maintain quality under high-capacity conditions
  • Oversee health and safety practices ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels working with procurement to source ingredients
  • Manage culinary budget to maximize cost-efficiency
  • Identify opportunities to enhance total costs via effective pricing and sourcing
  • Prepare financial reports analyzing data to inform decisions
  • Actively interact with guests to gather feedback
  • Collaborate with event teams for VIP and special occasion menus
  • Work closely with staff to ensure exceptional guest service
