Job Description
MKTG is a leading marketing and experiential agency known for creating unique brand experiences that connect consumers with high-profile brands. Operating extensively throughout Alaska, including Anchorage and beyond, MKTG specializes in engaging and educating consumers through dynamic events that foster brand awareness and loyalty. The company emphasizes a culture of professionalism, passion, and exceptional service as it partners with major clients to deliver their brand stories and products to targeted audiences. MKTG thrives on innovation and customer engagement, often utilizing modern technology and creative strategies to create memorable brand activations that resonate deeply with consumers. As a recognized player in the experiential marketing field, MKTG prides itself on hiring personable, knowledgeable individuals who are enthusiastic about bringing brands to life in the marketplace.
The Brand Educator position at MKTG is an exceptional opportunity for individuals passionate about brand representation and consumer interaction. This role is designed for those who want to work in an engaging, event-driven environment, primarily focused on representing high-profile brands at various on, off, and experiential events throughout Alaska. As a Brand Educator, you will be the face and voice of our client brands, responsible for educating consumers, humanizing brands, and facilitating informed purchasing decisions. The role demands a professional, friendly, and engaging personality that can actively interact with event attendees, delivering clear and compelling brand messages. Brand Educators play a crucial role in reinforcing brand awareness and loyalty by offering knowledgeable guidance and positive brand experiences.
Ideal candidates should be located in Anchorage, Alaska, though opportunities exist statewide for those willing to travel. The work schedule for this role primarily involves event shifts from Thursday to Saturday evenings, typically between 4pm and 12am. Events generally last between two and four hours, offering a flexible yet engaging work environment. This position pays a competitive hourly rate of $30 per hour. Beyond event participation, Brand Educators are also expected to complete regular online training modules to deepen their understanding of the brands they represent, including detailed product knowledge, category insights, and brand differentiators. Candidates who demonstrate exceptional market awareness may have additional opportunities to serve as local market representatives, acting as the company’s eyes and ears in their areas.
This is an occasional employment position, meaning that while hired Brand Educators may not be guaranteed a set number of assignments, they will be called upon to represent brands at various events as needed. Commitment to company policies, safety protocols including Covid-19 standards, and professional conduct is essential. Brand Educators must successfully complete training exams and present final brand presentations to validate their expertise before representing the brands at events. This role requires a high level of responsibility, reliability, and the ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times. If you enjoy working in lively and interactive environments, have a talent for public speaking, and possess a passion for brand storytelling, this Brand Educator role with MKTG offers an exciting and rewarding career path in the vibrant marketing industry.
