The Brand Ambassador role for Lingua Franca and Sea Smoke within Constellation Brands holds a pivotal position in elevating brand presence, stimulating sales momentum, and educating consumers in a compelling, immersive manner. As a Brand Ambassador, you will actively represent these premium brands at key events, tastings, and sales-driving activities, engaging both industry professionals and end consumers. Your principal mission will be to amplify brand awareness and loyalty through strategic engagements and effective communication. Collaborating closely with the marketing, strategy, sales, and enablement teams, this role demands a genuine passion for wine coupled with demonstrated expertise in influencing purchasing decisions and inspiring audiences. The position involves significant travel, approximately 50-70% of the time, encompassing weekends and potentially international destinations, to ensure direct brand activation in targeted markets. As an ambassador, you will lead educational sessions about wine characteristics, trends, and pairing strategies, supporting retail and restaurant partners in deepening their product knowledge. Key performance indicators (KPIs) include meeting sales targets, engaging effectively at events, and measurable improvements in brand visibility and consumer engagement.

In addition to proactive sales activities, you will gather valuable market insights and feedback from customers, consumers, and partners to inform strategic marketing and product development decisions. Building and nurturing strong, long-term relationships with sommeliers, buyers, distributors, and event organizers is essential to foster deep brand loyalty and broaden sales channels. You will also oversee the distribution and merchandising of promotional materials, ensuring maximum product exposure and alignment with brand identity. This role requires excellent communication and presentation skills, sales acumen in high-pressure situations, and the ability to collaborate across teams. A valid driver's license and readiness for frequent travel are essential prerequisites. Competitive compensation in the range of $100,300 to $153,600 is offered based on experience, alongside performance incentives, travel expenses covered, and opportunities for professional growth including specialized wine education. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing hospitality or related fields
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in luxury or premium brand ambassadorship or sales roles
  • Must have valid U.S. passport for international travel
  • Willingness to travel extensively including weekends and evenings
  • Ability to present and communicate effectively in front of diverse audiences
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work flexible hours and adapt to fast-paced environments
  • Must hold a valid driver's license for account travel

Job Qualifications

  • Passion for wine with deep enthusiasm and understanding of wine culture varieties and industry trends
  • Extensive experience in brand ambassadorship sales or hospitality primarily focused on premium or luxury brands
  • Expertise in Willamette Valley Santa Barbara Burgundy wines luxury consumers and the competitive set of Lingua Franca and Sea Smoke
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage large audiences and convey brand stories effectively
  • Proven sales acumen with experience in achieving sales goals and KPIs in high-pressure, results-driven environments
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and sales teams to implement brand strategies
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel 50-70% frequently including weekends evenings and international locations
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently while representing the brand
  • Valid driver's license required for travel between accounts and events

Job Duties

  • Travel 50-70% of the time to represent the brands at key industry events wine tastings trade shows and consumer-facing promotions
  • Drive sales by engaging with consumers retailers distributors and restaurant professionals at events tasting rooms and sales meetings ensuring effective product education and sampling to increase brand visibility
  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure brand messaging aligns with marketing campaigns and with the sales team to develop strategies that increase revenue and market share
  • Lead educational sessions to enhance consumers' and industry professionals' knowledge of our products their unique qualities and how to pair them with food
  • Achieve measurable key performance indicators (KPIs) including sales targets event engagement and brand awareness metrics
  • Gather feedback from consumers customers and partners to inform marketing strategies and product development sharing insights and trends with the brand and sales teams
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with key industry stakeholders such as sommeliers buyers distributors and event organizers to foster brand loyalty and open new sales channels
  • Ensure the proper distribution and display of promotional materials samples and brand assets to maximize exposure and drive sales at key accounts
