This full-time role is based in Salem, Oregon, with additional responsibilities covering Santa Barbara, California, and demands a readiness for considerable travel — between 50-70 percent, including international trips. Compensation for this role is highly competitive, ranging from $100,300 to $153,600 annually, supplemented by performance bonuses and travel expense coverage. Job Requirements
- Willingness and ability to travel 50-70% of the time
- Valid U.S. passport
- Valid driver’s license
- Must have extensive experience in premium or luxury brand environments
- Familiar with high-level wine consumer demographics and fine dining culture
- Ability to achieve sales KPIs and lead brand education
- Experience working with retail and restaurant partners
- Ability to maintain and cultivate professional industry relationships
Job Qualifications
- Passion for wine and in-depth understanding of wine culture and industry trends
- Extensive experience in brand ambassadorship, sales, or hospitality, especially with premium or luxury brands
- Expertise in Willamette Valley, Santa Barbara, Burgundy wines, and the competitive landscape of Lingua Franca and Sea Smoke
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability to sell and influence sales outcomes in a results-driven environment
- Comfortable collaborating across marketing and sales teams
- Willingness to travel extensively including weekends, evenings, and international destinations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver’s license
Job Duties
- Represent the brands at key industry events, wine tastings, trade shows, and consumer promotions
- Drive sales by engaging with consumers, retailers, distributors, and restaurant professionals
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align brand messaging and develop revenue strategies
- Lead educational sessions and training for consumers and industry professionals
- Achieve sales targets, event engagement, and brand awareness KPIs
- Gather market insights and feedback to inform marketing strategies and product development
