Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Work days, nights and/or weekends as required
- Work in noisy, fast paced environment with distracting conditions
- Read and write handwritten notes
- Lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Move about facility and stand for long periods of time
- Walk or stand 100 percent of shift
- Reach, bend and stoop frequently
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable using technology such as self-serve kiosks
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
- Must be fluent in English
Job Duties
- Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebrating all out fun
- Keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and take prompt corrective action or suggest alternatives
- Create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members
- Adhere to company’s sanitation procedures
- Assess guest demeanor and identify when behavior should be called to the attention of a manager
- Provide a welcoming experience to each guest with frequent smiling
- Greet, guide, and direct all guests as they enter and manage flow from the front doors efficiently
- Maintain a thorough understanding of current promotions, power card offerings, and answer questions regarding games and activities
- Assist guests with utilizing self-serve kiosks for purchasing power cards, adding to waitlist, or reserving social bays
- Work as additional support for the host team as needed
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of lobby area and front doors
- Assist other team members as needed
- Maintain favorable working relationships with team members to promote a cooperative and harmonious work climate
- Communicate effectively with guests to generate enthusiasm about the Dave & Buster's experience
- Read and communicate in English clearly with guests
- Listen to guests’ needs and communicate verbally with guests and team members
- Maintain proper dress code, presenting a neat, clean and professional appearance at all times
- Must be at least 18 years of age
