This temporary Brand Activation Manager position, available until July 30, is a critical role within the Anheuser-Busch family, focused on elevating the Stella Artois brand presence through strategic brand activations and sampling programs. The Brand Activation Manager will be responsible for driving brand presence, boosting sales, and increasing consumer engagement by executing comprehensive brand activation strategies. These strategies include overseeing a national sampling program designed to position Stella Artois prominently in key markets.

The role requires a highly motivated, results-oriented individual who will lead and manage a team of Brand Ambassadors, ensuring they are equipped, trained, and aligned with company objectives. The manager will work closely with key accounts and local wholesalers to forge and maintain strong relationships, sell brand programming, and lead brand activations such as special events, sponsorships, and promotions. They will handle the planning and execution of weekly sampling events, tracking success metrics and managing budgets effectively.

In addition to managing day-to-day activation events, the Brand Activation Manager will perform regular market analysis and report on performance metrics, working collaboratively with the broader operations team. Essential communication with stakeholders and Brand Ambassadors will be maintained through various channels to ensure seamless program execution. The position involves travel up to 50 percent within assigned markets and requires a professional demeanor, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-4 years of experience
  • experience in alcohol or beverage industry preferred
  • experience in agency, retail, CPG or consumer electronics environment

Job Qualifications

  • Must be of legal drinking age (21+)
  • 2 years of beverage company or distributor experience
  • valid/current driver’s license
  • access to reliable transportation
  • proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint
  • access to a computer with home internet
  • personal smartphone for communication/reporting in the field
  • available to work 40+ hours per week including nights and weekends
  • experience with event production and managing Brand Ambassador teams
  • prior brand promotion and sampling experience preferred
  • ability to lift 40lbs
  • able to travel for mandatory training at program launch
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Duties

  • Develop and execute comprehensive activation strategies to achieve sales and brand objectives
  • establish and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and the local wholesaler
  • sell in brand programming to key accounts
  • lead the planning and execution of brand activations, special events, sponsorships, and promotions
  • manage all aspects of Brand Ambassador team including recruitment, training, scheduling, weekly event execution, and reporting
  • provide guidance and support to the Brand Ambassador team to ensure alignment with company objectives
  • ensure Brand Ambassadors are equipped with merchandise and materials needed to execute sampling events
  • responsible for activation recaps, metrics, and overall event success
  • manage local budget and budget reporting/reconciliation
  • perform pre-calls and checklists in preparation for sampling events
  • monitor event execution ensuring all key brand KPIs are achieved
  • submit program deliverables accurately and on time each week including expense reporting, weekly recaps, BA survey audits, time sheet approvals
  • knowledge of local nightlife/events and local alcohol beverage laws
  • assist in analysis of sales and market/territory data providing consultation for under-performing accounts
  • manage events in person
