Job Duties
- supervises five or more associates in warehouse and delivery
- carries out supervisory responsibilities according to company policies and laws
- supports teammates in their training opportunities
- keeps current on all required training
- coordinates warehouse activities with the manager
- assists with branch management functions including operations, staffing, and budgeting
- maintains daily workflow for delivery orders
- assists associates during peak hours
- ensures replenishment and returned merchandise processed as per standards
- participates in personnel safety and plant protection activities
- ensures safety procedures are followed
- understands vehicle and workers' compensation reporting
- enforces branch procedures and compliance
- reports violations and safety concerns
- maintains customer service-oriented philosophy
- verifies incoming and outgoing shipments
- recommends procedural improvements
- manages warehouse equipment maintenance
- uses company vehicle for deliveries
