Job Description
SRS Distribution is a prominent leader in the building products industry, specializing in providing a comprehensive range of roofing, siding, windows, and other building materials to contractors and homeowners. As a company dedicated to excellence and customer satisfaction, SRS Distribution operates through a network of strategically located branches across the United States, each managed by experienced professionals committed to delivering outstanding service and operational efficiency. The company values innovation, strategic growth, and creating long-term partnerships with customers and suppliers, which has solidified its reputation as a trusted distributor that supports the construction sector's evolving needs.
The Branch Manager position at SRS Distribution's Loves Park location is a critical leadership role that entails overseeing all branch operations to ensure the delivery of superior customer service and operational excellence. This is a full-time role that typically offers a competitive base salary range from $77,400 to $102,400 annually, with variations based on factors such as experience, education, and specific role responsibilities. The role also includes eligibility for discretionary bonuses, commissions, profit-sharing programs, and other performance-based incentives, alongside comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
In this role, the Branch Manager is responsible for executing strategic initiatives that align with the company’s overall corporate objectives, driving market expansion and strengthening the branch's competitive edge within the building products industry. This includes conducting thorough operational assessments to identify areas for improvement and applying industry best practices to optimize productivity, streamline processes, and reduce costs. Financial oversight is a key component of the role, requiring proficiency in managing profit and loss, budgeting, and implementing financial controls designed to enhance profitability and ensure sustainable growth.
The Branch Manager leads and motivates a diverse team encompassing sales, operations, and administrative staff, fostering a high-performance culture that emphasizes employee development, inclusion, and strong customer relationships. Sales growth is pursued aggressively through innovative strategies, customer-centric policies, and collaborative leadership aimed at surpassing sales and market share targets. The position also demands commitment to regulatory compliance, safety standards, and the promotion of an inclusive work environment that prioritizes employee well-being and operational safety.
Travel requirements include visiting branch locations and customer sites as necessary to maintain alignment with company standards and leadership engagement. The physical demands of the position mainly involve office work but also include site visits and occasional lifting of materials up to 75 pounds. Accessibility accommodations are provided to support individuals with disabilities in compliance with ADA regulations.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of progressive management experience in distribution or building products industries, proven leadership skills, strong financial and analytical capabilities, and the ability to lead transformational change. Advanced qualifications such as a master's degree and relevant professional certifications are advantageous but not mandatory. SRS Distribution values a strategic, customer-focused leader who is adept at managing change, driving sales growth, and cultivating a culture of excellence within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This position offers the opportunity to significantly impact both branch and corporate success while benefiting from a robust compensation package and a company committed to diversity and inclusion.
