The Branch Manager I role at Brink's is a pivotal position within the Field Operations Leadership team. The individual in this role is responsible for managing the overall business and financial outcomes in an assigned market. This includes overseeing operations, finance, human resources, safety, and security, primarily focusing on Route and Cash Logistics. The Branch Manager I plays a crucial role in directing and motivating Team Leaders to achieve superior results and fosters continuous improvement processes that enhance operational efficiency and service delivery. Key responsibilities include managing market logistics, developing product lines, reducing risk exposure, maintaining high ethical standards, and ensuring positive employee relations and work environment. The role demands a leader who can cultivate profitable relationships with customers while delivering reliable, secure services that uphold Brink's esteemed reputation. Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years operations experience in the banking industry, money processing or transportation/logistics
  • A valid firearms permit or ability to pass applicable firearms licensing requirements
  • A valid guard card or ability to obtain a guard card or other required licenses
  • Clear DOT/DMV record
  • Ability to routinely lift a minimum of 50 lbs
  • Must be 21 years of age

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in cash handling industry or retail/financial cash management
  • Excellent knowledge of business and customer needs
  • Excellent knowledge of business development techniques
  • Excellent knowledge in process improvement methodologies
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Strong consultative, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

Job Duties

  • Assume responsibility for the overall market management at a location
  • Ensure successful integration and partnership with all Brink's product lines
  • Support the General Manager and/or Regional Vice President in providing direction to organize market logistics and develop a product-driven organization
  • Identify ways to improve management of costs, improve efficiencies and drive services to positively impact business results
  • Develop the product lines within the assigned market
  • Identify new opportunities for Brink's products within appropriate markets
  • Understand competitive circumstances including identity, operational characteristics, market pricing and impact
  • Proactively reduce risk exposure and implement measures to reduce worker's compensation injury costs and security losses
  • Establish and maintain accountability at all market levels
  • Maintain positive employee relations and work environment
  • Maintain high ethical standards and protect Brink's reputation by delivering high-quality, reliable services
  • Ensure proper recruitment, selection, training, mentoring, coaching, and development of first-line supervisory teams
  • Establish profitable relationships by maintaining good communications and service levels with customers
