Job Description

Shamrock Foods Company is a privately-held, family-owned and operated Forbes 500 company that has been a leader in the food industry since its founding in Arizona in 1922. This establishment is known for its commitment to putting people first—valuing associates, customers, and the families they serve nationwide. Known for innovation and quality, Shamrock Foods offers a broad range of food products and services, maintaining a strong reputation as an industry pioneer. The company’s culture is rooted in its founding family’s motto to "treat associates like family and customers like friends," emphasizing a supportive and inclusive work environment. Shamrock Foods prioritizes comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities, ensuring that employees feel valued and supported throughout their tenure.

The Branch Chef position at Shamrock Foods is a vital role that works closely with the Corporate Chef to plan and direct food preparation and customer workshops. This role is designed to bridge culinary expertise and customer engagement, focusing on creating customized solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and business growth. The Branch Chef proactively identifies qualified new sales leads and targets recapturing lost or declining sales by leveraging their culinary knowledge and the Corporate Chef’s status. This involves collaborating directly with customers to identify operational deficiencies and developing tailored solutions by coordinating with various specialists, vendors, and marketing professionals.

The role also requires participation in product lifecycle processes, including evaluating new items for viability and managing SKU reductions to optimize product offerings. The Branch Chef is responsible for coordinating Business Solutions Workshops and developing a culinary training program aimed at the Sales Department to deliver hands-on, interactive training for sales meetings and product knowledge enhancement. Demonstration skills are essential, as this position involves showcasing Shamrock products to groups and media to highlight product features and benefits effectively.

Furthermore, the Branch Chef is tasked with creating a library of videotaped product training materials as ongoing educational resources for both customers and sales teams. This ensures continuous learning and reinforces product knowledge across the organization. The position demands flexibility to meet the varying demands of the department, including extensive travel across the state, working evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary. With a salary range of $70,000 to $80,000 plus potential bonuses based on competency, experience, and skill set, this role offers a competitive compensation package reflecting the importance of the position within Shamrock Foods. The company anticipates closing its application window for this opportunity on or before December 31, 2026, highlighting the urgency to join a respected leader in the food industry committed to innovation, quality, and strong community values.
