The role of Branch Banking Management Military Apprentice (SAFE) within Wells Fargo’s National Branch Network is an exciting opportunity in the Consumer Banking and Lending division. This position is designed specifically for individuals with military backgrounds who are ready to transition their leadership and customer service skills into the financial sector. As a Branch Banking Management Military Apprentice, candidates will be responsible for leading and developing a diverse team of direct reports, fostering a culture of engagement, accountability, and high performance that drives the business forward. They will manage operational excellence by ensuring policies, procedures, and compliance requirements are met while also being hands-on in assisting customers with their transactions.
This apprenticeship program is a comprehensive training and development initiative accredited by the U.S. Department of Labor. It combines on-the-job training, coursework, and mentorship, preparing the apprentice to become a fully functioning Associate Branch Manager. Apprentices will learn the vital skills required to lead a branch, handle financial resources, and deliver exceptional customer experiences focused on building meaningful relationships. The job involves participating in initiatives to improve processes within the Branch Banking area, analyzing operational challenges, and collaborating with internal teams and customers to provide effective solutions.
Additionally, the role requires compliance with the SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act due to the customer-facing nature of some transactions involving dwelling-secured loans. Employment is contingent upon passing background investigations and fulfilling licensing requirements. Wells Fargo emphasizes integrity, professionalism, and strong risk management practices among its employees, which are critical to protecting both the company and its customers.
This position offers a meaningful career path with the support of a respected institution dedicated to helping veterans and military personnel succeed in civilian roles.
