This opportunity is specifically designed for established independent contractors with an active DOT and MC authority who are looking to join J.B. Hunt’s Final Mile Services division. The role focuses on home delivery and installation of appliances, fitness equipment, and furniture, offering contractors a chance to build a steady business with a reputable logistics firm. A team-based approach is required, with at least two members working together to ensure customer satisfaction through professional delivery and installation services.

Contractors will benefit from J.B. Hunt's market-adjusted fuel surcharge to help save on fuel expenses, as well as access to third-party discounts on truck rentals, fuel, and tools. The position offers negotiable rates and consistent routes with an established customer base, ensuring predictable income potential. Payment terms are favorable, with settlements made within seven days. This is a contract employment opportunity involving a 10-hour shift per day conducted in-person.

Ideal candidates for this contract role must have experience in white glove delivery services, particularly in handling appliance and furniture delivery and installation. A 26-foot box truck with a liftgate (with dimensions of 102 inches high and 102 inches wide) is essential to fit the requirements for the delivery loads. Both team members must successfully pass background and drug testing and possess effective communication skills in English to interact professionally with customers and J.B. Hunt personnel.
