Job Requirements
- Possession of valid Class C CA driver license with a clean record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Has a California DMV record that is no more than 30 days old
- Must have a current MVR that has no citation convictions other than parking within past 3 years
- Has a Department of Transportation medical card
- Must be able to read maps and communicate using GW issued radio or phone equipment
- Must pass pre-employment DOT drug test as a condition of employment
- Must have excellent customer service skills and proven ability to interact effectively with diverse customer base
- Available to work weekends and early mornings
- Respects and has knowledge of cultures, ethnicities, gender, sexual orientations and age groups other than ones own, able to work effectively with all
- Must be able to lift minimum 25 lbs

Job Duties
- Safely operates a vehicle to collect, transport and/or deliver donations, processed merchandise and other materials, as directed
- Safeguards donated goods to prevent damage during shipment
- Assists with unloading of merchandise, minimizing damage to donated materials
- Acts courteously, handles customer concerns, and resolves and/or escalates when necessary
- Follows all established policies, procedures and local, county, state and federal laws
- Performs daily vehicle maintenance checks
- Ensures daily work requirements are met, maintaining quality and quantity performance
