Job Description

AEG, a global leader in sports and live entertainment, has been transforming the industry for over 20 years. Hosting more than 160 million guests each year, promoting over 10,000 shows, and presenting more than 22,000 events worldwide, AEG is a powerhouse committed to innovation, artistry, and community engagement. With a portfolio that includes 300-plus venues, leading sports franchises, marquee music brands, integrated entertainment districts, a premier ticketing platform, and global sponsorship activations, AEG creates memorable moments that inspire excitement and foster connection among fans and communities. The company values diversity and inclusivity, reflecting the varied backgrounds of the artists, athletes, and audiences it serves, and it pursues sustainable practices to minimize environmental impacts.

The Box Office Attendant at AEG plays a crucial role in enhancing guest experiences by being the primary point of contact for ticket purchases. This role involves providing clear and accurate information regarding event locations, seating options, and pricing to help guests make informed decisions. The Attendant is responsible for processing ticket sales efficiently, handling payments securely, and maintaining adherence to cash handling and inventory protocols. Beyond transactional duties, the Box Office Attendant fosters a welcoming atmosphere through positive engagement, friendly greetings, and attentive customer service. This role requires the ability to respond promptly and effectively to customer concerns, escalating issues when necessary to ensure satisfaction. Additionally, the Attendant leverages knowledge of upcoming events to generate upselling opportunities, thereby supporting AEG's broader entertainment offerings.

The position demands a team-oriented individual who contributes to a collaborative and positive work environment. Responsibilities also include maintaining the cleanliness of the venue's facilities and assisting coworkers as needed. Candidates for this role should possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and demonstrate professionalism and responsibility in high-paced settings. AEG offers this role as part-time employment, with pay rates ranging from $10 to $15 per hour. While this role is not eligible for bonus compensation, it may qualify for benefits under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) guidelines. AEG maintains the flexibility to adjust job duties as necessary during the employment tenure to meet evolving business needs.
