The role of Box Office Attendant at AEG is pivotal in ensuring guests receive exceptional service and support when purchasing tickets for various events. This part-time position, offering a salary of $17.25 per hour, involves direct interaction with customers, providing vital information about event locations, seating options, price structures, and other details to help guests select the best ticket options. The Box Office Attendant is responsible for accurately processing orders, handling payments securely, and following cash handling and inventory procedures. The role requires excellent customer service skills, a positive and friendly demeanor, and the ability to resolve customer concerns effectively. Candidates must be able to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. The position requires flexibility for working various shifts, including nights and weekends.

Beyond the core responsibilities related to ticket sales, this role offers opportunities to engage guests with knowledge of upcoming events and to contribute positively to the team environment by assisting coworkers and maintaining cleanliness of the facilities. Job Duties

  • Accurately and efficiently process orders for and collect payments from guests
  • Follow cash handling and inventory procedures to ensure security of assets and inventory
  • Greet customers with a positive and friendly demeanor
  • Assist guests by providing information, answering questions and processing requests
  • Resolve customer concerns by providing superior customer service, utilizing common practices for resolution and escalating to supervisor when needed
  • Provide upselling opportunities to similar events in the genre by demonstrating a strong knowledge of upcoming events
  • Contribute to the team dynamic by assisting coworkers, maintaining the facilities' cleanliness and helping to develop and maintain a positive work environment
