The role of Box Office Agent is a seasonal, part-time casual position based in Tacoma, Washington, reporting to the Box Office Manager within the Ticketmaster NA Support and Operations division. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about live entertainment and interested in being part of the live events industry. Box Office Agents play a crucial frontline role, assisting ticket purchasers with exceptional customer service and directly facilitating ticket sales at live events. The job requires flexibility, as working hours encompass evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on event scheduling. Successful candidates will operate Ticketmaster’s Point of Sale system and other ticketing platforms such as Archtics and TM Host, handle transactions including cash and credit card processing, and manage ticket distribution including will-call orders.

Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • providing exceptional front-line customer service to ticket purchasers
  • conduct in-person ticket sales at the box office using the Ticketmaster Point of Sale system
  • work with Archtics and TM Host systems regularly
  • balance and account for cash and credit card receipts from sales transactions
  • organize and distribute will-call tickets
  • foster and maintain a positive attitude towards the company and its activities
