Job Description
Aimbridge Hospitality is a recognized leader in the hospitality industry, known for managing a diverse portfolio of hotels and venues with a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences. Through its lifestyle vertical, Evolution Hospitality, Aimbridge elevates boutique, independent, luxury, and soft brand hotels and their associated restaurants, bars, and lounges across North America. This division champions a culture-driven approach to hospitality and prioritizes both performance and personal growth. The company blends sophisticated luxury with warm, personalized service to create memorable experiences for every guest. Their portfolio includes historic properties that reflect rich heritage and timeless elegance, providing an inspiring setting for both guests and employees.
The Bourbon Orleans hotel, situated amidst the vibrant atmosphere of New Orleans' Bourbon Street, offers a distinctive blend of historic charm and modern hospitality. Originally a high-society ballroom and former convent, this property invites guests into a tranquil sanctuary filled with Belle Epoque style, polished marble accents, and an ambiance steeped in Louisiana tradition. Joining Aimbridge's team means becoming part of an organization that values authentic storytelling, heritage preservation, and community engagement, all while maintaining high standards of service excellence.
As an Executive Chef at Aimbridge Hospitality, you will be the creative visionary spearheading the culinary operations. This role demands a dynamic leader who combines culinary artistry with operational expertise. You will oversee multiple food outlets, including the Café, Room Service, and Banquets, ensuring that each dish not only meets strict quality benchmarks but also delivers exceptional taste and presentation to guests. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a motivated and disciplined kitchen team, driving efficiency, innovation, and consistency across all culinary endeavors.
This position calls for a hands-on leader capable of navigating the complexities of kitchen management, including budget oversight, food cost controls, and maintaining stringent sanitation and safety standards. As the kitchen captain, you will be responsible for mentoring staff, driving continuous improvement, and swiftly resolving operational challenges to maintain smooth, uninterrupted service. Strong communication skills will allow you to effectively liaise with coworkers and guests, ensuring that hospitality flows seamlessly from kitchen to table.
The ideal candidate must thrive under pressure, demonstrating the ability to balance creativity with logistics in a fast-paced environment while upholding the culinary brand integrity of Aimbridge Hospitality. This role offers a unique opportunity to craft unforgettable dining experiences and contribute valuable leadership to a prestigious hospitality group committed to excellence and innovation. The Executive Chef position at Aimbridge Hospitality not only offers the chance to advance your career in a supportive and thriving environment but also to be part of a storied tradition of culinary excellence and guest satisfaction.
