Job Requirements

  • Flexible availability including early mornings evenings weekends and holidays
  • Previous experience in a high-volume kitchen environment
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices
  • Ability to train and mentor team members effectively

  • Ability to maintain high standards of food quality and consistency under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with different teams effectively

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Line Cook in a high-volume environment such as airport lounge hospitality hotel or restaurant
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Demonstrated ability to train and mentor team members including those without prior kitchen experience
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality and consistency
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Support the Chef in the day-to-day kitchen operations including prep service and closing
  • Prepare and present high-quality food in accordance with company standards and menus
  • Ensure consistent execution of composed dishes
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety sanitation and hygiene standards
  • Assist in inventory management ordering and cost control initiatives
  • Train coach and support lounge team members including non-culinary staff to ensure proper food handling and execution
  • Provide clear guidance and simplified processes to support team members with varying levels of experience
  • Step in to lead kitchen operations in the absence of the Chef
  • Maintain a clean organized and efficient kitchen environment
  • Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery
