Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • one or more years of commercial cooking experience
  • ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • pass a criminal history and employment background check
  • strong attention to detail and adherence to food safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • One or more years of experience cooking in a commercial, high-volume production kitchen
  • ability to read and interpret specifications and recipes
  • solid knife handling skills
  • strong commitment to food safety and quality
  • ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Review production sheets to confirm specifications
  • retrieve and set up necessary food and equipment
  • prepare complex recipes according to specifications and quality guidelines
  • wrap, date, and refrigerate finished products
  • maintain temperature records in accordance with HACCP requirements
  • solid knife handling skills
  • read and interpret specifications/recipes
  • strong adherence to all food safety requirements
  • must be able to work in a 24/7 environment including nights, weekends and holidays
