Job Description
AEG (Anschutz Entertainment Group) has been a leader in the sports and live entertainment industry for over 20 years, playing a crucial role in transforming the way audiences experience events. With a global footprint that includes more than 300 premier venues, top sports franchises, marquee music brands, and integrated entertainment districts, AEG hosts over 160 million guests annually. They promote more than 10,000 shows and present 22,000 events worldwide each year. This dynamic company prides itself on fostering innovation, artistry, and community engagement, creating memorable moments that resonate with fans, artists, athletes, and audiences from all walks of life. AEG’s commitment to diversity, inclusion, and sustainability defines its corporate culture, reflecting the wide variety of individuals it serves and the communities it supports. The company continuously strives to minimize environmental impact by adopting sustainable business practices across all operations.
The Booking Coordinator role at AEG is vital in supporting the efficient organization and management of event bookings for multiple venues and event types, including one-off performances, corporate events, and large festivals. This role involves close collaboration with Talent Buyers to develop and maintain offers for AEG Presents shows, tours, and festivals within internal ticketing systems. The Booking Coordinator is responsible for handling holds, building offers, and maintaining comprehensive documentation related to bookings—such as contracts, deposit confirmations, and tax forms. Effective communication is key as the incumbent liaises with artist agents, management teams, and various internal departments such as marketing, finance, and contracting.
This full-time position pays a salary in the range of $23 to $24 per hour but does not currently offer bonuses. It requires the ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays to support the fast-paced and dynamic environment of live entertainment booking. The role is suited for candidates who are highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, personable, and capable of multitasking effectively in a busy office setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn required business systems are essential. Although prior experience in the music industry is preferred, it is not mandatory for this entry-level to mid-level position.
AEG offers a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, including medical, dental and vision insurance, paid holidays, vacation and sick time, company-paid basic life insurance, voluntary life insurance, parental leave, a 401k plan with a 3% employer match, flexible spending and health savings accounts, and various wellness programs. AEG is an equal opportunity employer committed to hiring the most qualified applicants and complies fully with federal, state, and local employment laws. The company does not offer work visa sponsorship for this position.
