The Back of the House (BOH) Team Member role at Noble Chicken is crucial to the restaurant's operations and success. This position is primarily responsible for food preparation, cooking, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness, all performed behind the scenes to ensure every dish meets strict quality and consistency standards. As a BOH Team Member, you will engage in a variety of tasks including ingredient preparation, cooking according to recipes, managing inventory and stock levels, and adhering to food safety protocols. Working in this role means you will be an integral part of the kitchen team, supporting both the front and back of the house to provide seamless service to guests.

This full-time or part-time position offers a competitive pay range of $13 to $15 per hour, with full-time employees eligible for benefits after 60 days. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Interact with every team member and guest professionally and in a friendly and hospitable manner
  • primary responsibility is to prepare ingredients, cook dishes according to established recipes and ensure food quality meets restaurant standards. Compliance with portion sizes, cooking methods and quality standards included in recipes
  • prep ingredients, manage stock levels, rotate inventory, and ensure proper storage of food items. 100% compliance with opening/closing and restocking of the line as needed and at the end of each shift
  • maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen workspace, follow proper hygiene practices and adhere to food safety regulations
  • adhere to established standards for service, dress code and sanitation procedures
  • handle, store and rotate all product properly including stocking product and inventory upon truck delivery
  • consistently work with others as a team, demonstrating core values of positively impacting others, standing together as family, and encouraging fun
  • collaborate with kitchen and FOH staff to efficiently manage orders, communicate any issues and maintain a smooth workflow
