Job Requirements
- Previous experience as a grill cook, fry cook, prep cook, line cook, banquet cook, or catering cook preferred
- Ability to work in a high-volume kitchen environment
- Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Team-first attitude and willingness to learn
- Texas Food Handler Certification required or ability to obtain
- Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling
- Ability to work safely around hot surfaces, grills, fryers, and kitchen equipment
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to Goode Company recipes and specifications
- Operate grill, fryer, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain proper cooking temperatures, portioning, and presentation standards
- Manage ticket flow and production needs during peak periods
- Monitor product quality and ensure consistency throughout service
- Prepare meats, vegetables, sauces, and other ingredients for daily production
- Perform knife work, portioning, marinating, seasoning, and recipe preparation
- Assist with food packaging and event production needs
- Label, date, and properly store products following food safety standards
- Support production for large-scale catering events and special functions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines
- Assist with inventory rotation and kitchen organization
- Work closely with chefs and kitchen leadership to meet production goals
- Support event and catering food production as needed
