Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in bakery or pastry kitchen preferred
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • strong commitment to cleanliness and food safety
  • good manual dexterity
  • willingness to follow instructions carefully

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in cake decorating and pastry production
  • strong organizational and time management skills
  • ability to learn new techniques quickly
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitization standards
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to work well within a team
  • attention to detail in decoration and production

Job Duties

  • Responsible for scaling, decorating and producing of all desserts, pastries and cakes
  • general knowledge of production methods and organization of confectionary production
  • learn new products and skills and has ability to demonstrate proper techniques to back of house team
  • sanitization procedures, maintaining overall cleanliness of workstation
  • must be able to manage time and skills with strong organization
  • knowledge of all recipes and procedures of all production
  • receive, stock, and store food in designated containers and storage areas in an organized manner
  • inform supervisor when equipment is not working properly and manage when food supplies are getting low
  • perform other related duties as assigned
