Known for its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, Knudtsen offers an extensive range of automotive services including the sale of new and used vehicles, a comprehensive full-service body shop, and a dedicated service department. The company also provides access to Genuine Lincoln, Mazda, and GM parts, ensuring that customers receive authentic and reliable components for their vehicles. With deep roots in the community, Knudtsen values building and nurturing meaningful relationships with customers, employees, and partners. The company embraces core values such as relationships, legacy, passion, excellence, and transparency, reflecting its dedication to not only delivering exceptional products and services but also fostering a positive and supportive work environment for its team members.
Knudtsen Foothills ABRA is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Body Shop Parts Assistant/Porter to join their dynamic team. This position offers an hourly pay range of $19.00 to $20.00, reflecting the company's recognition of the valuable contribution this role makes to daily operations. The Body Shop Parts Assistant/Porter plays an essential hybrid role that supports both the body shop and parts departments, contributing to the smooth and efficient workflow of the entire facility. The role involves maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment by cleaning and detailing customer vehicles before and after repairs, performing general shop upkeep, and assisting technicians and staff with various shop tasks. Additionally, the position provides critical support to the parts department by receiving shipments, verifying parts accuracy and quality, and organizing them for easy access.
Ideal candidates for this role will be highly dependable, energetic, and eager to engage in a fast-paced automotive environment. While prior experience in an automotive body shop setting is preferred, Knudtsen encourages individuals with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn to apply, as the company offers training opportunities. The position demands physical stamina, as it requires standing, walking, lifting heavy parts, and exposure to various working conditions such as noise and chemicals. The Body Shop Parts Assistant/Porter is also responsible for safe vehicle movement within the shop and parking areas, supporting vendors by delivering and picking up vehicles and parts, and maintaining open communication with technicians to ensure a seamless operation.
Knudtsen Foothills ABRA is committed to investing in its employees by providing a comprehensive benefits package that includes employer-sponsored medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and their dependents, life insurance plans, paid time off, training and education assistance, employee purchase discounts, a 401(k) retirement savings plan with a 4% employer match, and opportunities for community service involvement. The company fosters a strong sense of team spirit and community engagement, encouraging employees to participate in local events and contribute to the neighborhoods where they live and work.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in a cooperative team environment and are dedicated to providing outstanding customer service while supporting high standards of safety and quality within the automotive repair and parts process. If you are looking for a rewarding position with a respected name in the Spokane automotive industry and a company that values your contributions, Knudtsen Foothills ABRA invites you to join their family-oriented team and help continue their tradition of excellence in automotive care.
