Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in automotive or body shop environment preferred
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Clean motor vehicle record
  • Pass criminal background check
  • Pass drug screening
  • Physical ability to perform demanding tasks
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced shop environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Job Qualifications

  • A team player focused on providing exemplary customer service
  • Previous experience in a body shop environment is desired
  • Able to stand or walk on hard surfaces for the majority of shift in all types of weather while exposed to elevated noise, vibration, and chemicals
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, and twist on a daily basis
  • Ability to perform in a physical position
  • Able to safely operate a wide variety of cars, trucks, SUVs, and vans, including both automatic and manual transmissions
  • Strong attention to detail, especially when verifying parts
  • Have a valid driver’s license
  • Pass a motor vehicle report and possess a safe driving record
  • Pass a criminal background check and drug test

Job Duties

  • Wash, vacuum, and detail customer vehicles before and after repairs
  • Thoroughly check that all blends are properly buffed
  • Confirm all lights and blinkers work correctly
  • Deliver vehicles for work to be completed by outside vendors and retrieve when completed
  • Assist with customer vehicle drop-off and pick-up when required
  • Move vehicles in and out of the shop, parking areas, and staging zones
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop, bays, and common areas
  • Empty trash, sweep floors, and assist with general facility upkeep
  • Support technicians by delivering tools, supplies, or materials as needed
  • Perform basic lot organization, including parking and tagging vehicles
  • Receive and check in incoming parts deliveries
  • Verify part numbers, quantities, and accuracy against repair orders
  • Inspect parts for damage, defects, or quality issues
  • Label, store, and organize parts in designated areas
  • Communicate discrepancies or damaged parts to the estimator
  • Assist with maintaining a clean and organized parts storage area
  • Help track parts status and ensure technicians receive correct components
