The role of Body Shop Manager at Campers Inn RV plays a crucial leadership part in maintaining the upkeep, inventory, and repair of all property grounds, buildings, and equipment. This position directly supervises service department employees ensuring that safety, quality, and efficiency standards are consistently met. The Body Shop Manager is responsible for managing a variety of machinery including autos, golf carts, and tractors, alongside overseeing inventory, ordering, and supply delivery to keep operations running smoothly. Job Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Two years of experience in an automotive service department preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record preferred
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and reports
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Knowledge or ability to learn company system applications including Motility Systems2K and other software as applicable
  • Ability to work in a safety sensitive position
  • Ability to handle moderate noise levels and exposure to fumes or airborne particles
  • Ability to bend, sit for long periods, reach above shoulders, and lift at least 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of experience in an automotive service department is preferred
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and reports
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to operate the department profitably within dealership guidelines
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Knowledge or ability to learn company system applications, including Motility Systems2K and other software as applicable
  • Ability to withstand occasional exposed to high places, fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals
  • Ability to work in a work environment with moderate noise levels
  • Ability to bend or sit for long periods of time
  • Ability to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Directly supervises one or more employees in the service department
  • Responsible to maintain all autos, golf carts, tractors, and all other machinery owned by property
  • Responsible for the inventory, ordering and delivery of all necessary supplies and equipment for the service department
  • Assisting in the disciplinary or promotional recommendations required for all service personnel
  • Responsible for insuring OSHA standards and company safety policies are complied with at all times
  • Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals
  • Responsible for courteous, efficient response at all times
  • Responsible for thorough knowledge of management company policies
