Job Duties

  • Maintain complete knowledge of all hotel features services activities and events
  • Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a clean and attractive outlet for guests
  • Ensure orders are prepared in a timely manner and ensure accuracy of all orders
  • Ensure tables and store front are always clean and presentable
  • Inspect plan and ensure all materials workspaces and equipment are ready for service
  • Assist guests with reports of lost stolen articles following hotel policy
  • Adhere to hotel requirements for guest employee accidents or injuries and emergencies
  • Complete work orders for maintenance repairs and submit to Engineering
  • Contact Engineering directly for urgent repairs
  • Review status of assigned projects and daily assignments and any follow-up with on-coming staff
  • Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with department policies service procedures and standards
  • Maintain knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment and ensure routine maintenance
  • Anticipate guest needs respond promptly and acknowledge all guests
  • Maintain positive guest relations and train staff to engage and upsell products and services
  • Resolve guest complaints and concerns to ensure satisfaction
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness sanitation and organization of work areas
  • Enforce property opening and closing duties and communicate with responsible staff
  • Adhere to payment cash handling and credit policies and procedures
  • Ensure all products are secured and systems are in place to prevent theft
  • Ensure cleanliness of outlets kitchen and menus including fridges freezers equipment and storage
  • Remove expired product from inventory
  • Ensure retail is stocked and presentable
  • Attend staff meetings and communicate to team
  • Ensure equipment is maintained and working with maintenance or technicians
