The Host position at Bob’s Steak and Chop House within the Omni Louisville Hotel is a key frontline role focused on ensuring exceptional guest experiences. As a host, you will be responsible for warmly greeting guests with courtesy and professionalism as they enter the restaurant. This role demands maintaining an organized and inviting atmosphere by efficiently seating guests at clean tables, assisting servers, managing restaurant admissions during peak times, and managing reservation records for larger parties. The host plays a vital role in monitoring dining room activity to ensure guest safety, comfort, and service quality. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a host role preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to stand and walk for entire shifts
- Ability to move and lift items up to 10 pounds
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Completion of STAR alcohol training certification
- Food Handlers Certification

Job Duties
- Greet guests when entering the restaurant with a pleasant smile and superior customer service
- Seat guests by finding a clean, available table, pulling out chairs, and placing clean menus in front of guests
- Answer phone and record reservations for large parties
- Control high volume outside of restaurant
- Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety and well-being of guests
- Assist servers when needed
- Thank every guest upon departure, invite them to return, and wish them a fond farewell
