Job Description

BOB Hotels Tallahassee is an innovative boutique hotel that combines the comforts and amenities guests expect with a tech-savvy, contemporary, urban atmosphere reflective of the Tallahassee area. Embracing a unique model known as Boutique on a Budget, BOB Hotels is redefining budget hospitality by integrating top-notch design, robust safety measures, and an unwavering commitment to guest satisfaction. This approach creates a worry-free environment where guests can relax and enjoy memorable experiences. BOB Hotels Tallahassee stands as a trailblazer in the hospitality industry, aiming not only to elevate the guest experience but also to foster a workplace where employees are respected, empowered, and provided with genuine opportunities for career growth and advancement. The organization strongly believes that treating employees with dignity cultivates an environment of teamwork and excellence that benefits both staff and guests.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Front Desk Manager to join our professional team at the flagship BOB Hotel in Tallahassee. This full-time role offers a competitive starting salary and performance-based rewards. The Front Desk Manager plays an integral role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel by managing, training, and developing the front desk staff. In addition to overseeing front desk functions, this position may occasionally involve managing housekeeping and other hotel operations. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, exhibits strong leadership and communication skills, and is committed to delivering exceptional customer service.

The Front Desk Manager is responsible for embodying BOB Hotels’ high standards for service, professionalism, and guest engagement. This role will require you to foster a friendly, attentive, and respectful environment while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail are maintained in daily operations. You will monitor competitor rates and hotel inventory, contribute to scheduling, address guest complaints promptly and tactfully, and collaborate closely with housekeeping, maintenance, and other hotel departments to optimize service delivery. The position also includes duties such as service recovery, coaching staff, managing inventories, and acting as essential personnel during emergencies or inclement weather.

This role is ideal for someone seeking long-term employment within a rapidly expanding hospitality brand that values teamwork, innovation, and personal development. The Front Desk Manager will be a key leader within the hotel, acting as the second in command and independently managing the property in the absence of the General Manager. BOB Hotels prioritizes a supportive and dynamic work environment where employees can thrive.
