Delaware North Sportservice is a prominent hospitality company specializing in delivering exceptional food and beverage services at premier sports and entertainment venues. Established as a major player in the hospitality industry, Delaware North has a rich legacy spanning over 100 years as a family-owned enterprise with a global footprint. Their operations cover a broad spectrum of venues, including iconic sports arenas, national parks, casinos, and more, providing unique and memorable experiences to millions of guests annually. At Truist Park in Atlanta, Georgia, Delaware North has been operating concessions, premium dining, and restaurant services since the venue opened in 2016. Truist Park, a state-of-the-art ballpark with a capacity of 41,500 seats, is the home of Major League Baseball's Atlanta Braves, making it a vibrant and energetic environment for hospitality professionals to thrive.
This opportunity is for a seasonal Food and Beverage Supervisor position at Truist Park. The role is critical in ensuring that guests receive the highest levels of service throughout the baseball season, which begins in March and extends until October, with potential extension during playoff schedules. The Food and Beverage Supervisor will be responsible for supervising daily operations related to bar and restaurant services, maintaining cost control, managing staffing levels effectively, and collaborating with the kitchen team to guarantee the quality of meals served to customers. This role offers an excellent chance for individuals passionate about hospitality who want to work in a dynamic environment where their efforts are recognized and rewarded.
As a Food and Beverage Supervisor with Delaware North Sportservice, candidates will experience a supportive and growth-oriented work culture. The company invests heavily in the personal and professional development of its team members through training opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package. This includes weekly pay, employee discounts, flexible schedules, and access to health, dental, and vision insurance for eligible employees. Additionally, Delaware North offers 401(k) plans with company matches, paid vacation and holidays, parental bonding leave, and tuition or professional certification reimbursement. These benefits, combined with the chance to work at a major league sports venue, create a fulfilling seasonal employment opportunity.
Delaware North emphasizes inclusivity and equal opportunity, fostering a workplace where diversity is valued and all employees are treated with respect and dignity. The Food and Beverage Supervisor position requires a minimum of one year of relevant experience with strong verbal, written, and organizational skills. Candidates must also possess basic computer skills, including word processing, email, and spreadsheet proficiency. Physical requirements include the ability to lift 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods, consistent with the demands of fast-paced hospitality environments.
Shifts for this position are varied and include days, evenings, holidays, weekends, and event-specific hours, with typical shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours. This flexibility allows the company to meet the needs of a seasonal venue while offering employees diverse scheduling options. Overall, this role is suited for motivated individuals seeking to gain valuable hospitality experience in a reputable, internationally recognized company during the baseball season at an exciting, high-profile sports venue.
