The Line Cook position at Blue Door Kitchen is a seasonal opportunity running from May 26, 2026, through July 31, 2026. This role is crucial in managing all aspects of food preparation and kitchen operations to meet the high standards expected by BGCGTC. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for setting up and stocking kitchen stations, cleaning and prepping ingredients, cooking meals according to precise recipes, and maintaining stringent food safety and sanitation protocols. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a line cook or similar role
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Experience in cooking methods and knife handling
  • Ability to work regular hours including evenings, nights, and weekends
  • Must be dependable and punctual
  • Must be able to obtain Food Handler certification
  • Must be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
  • Must pass background and drug screens
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and liability insurance

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a line cook or similar role
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Understanding of cooking methods and knife handling
  • Ability to work regular branch and program hours
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Certified or able to obtain Food Handler certification

  • Satisfactory driving record with valid license and reliable transportation
