Job Description

Marriott International is a renowned global hospitality company recognized for delivering exceptional guest experiences through its diverse portfolio of hotel brands. Among these brands is Aloft Hotels, which stands out as a vibrant, modern, and personality-driven hospitality experience. Aloft Hotels are designed to be more than just places to stay; they serve as dynamic hubs where guests can connect with their community and unwind in a setting that balances stylish design with a welcoming atmosphere. Located within this innovative environment, the Bartender role presents an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about more than just mixing drinks. It is ideal for those who aim to create memorable and unique experiences for guests by skillfully combining beverage expertise with outstanding hospitality.

The Bartender position at Aloft Hotels is a vital part of crafting an engaging social atmosphere where guests feel both valued and entertained. Bartenders here are not merely beverage technicians but hosts of the space, responsible for owning the quality of guest service beyond the bar itself. They are encouraged to stay up to date on the latest trends in beverages, including micro-local offerings and evolving guest preferences, ensuring every drink served aligns with the hotel’s reputation for excellence. This role demands a strong attention to detail, from managing cash transactions accurately to maintaining the highest standards in drink preparation and guest interaction.

Bartenders at Aloft take pride in maintaining a flawless bar environment, demonstrating a proactive attitude by anticipating and meeting guest needs. Building professional relationships within the hotel and the local community is also a significant aspect of the job, enabling bartenders to deliver personalized service that resonates with guests. The position requires physical stamina, as bartenders will be on their feet for extended periods, moving, lifting, and performing a variety of movements that keep the bar running smoothly.

This role is suited for individuals with at least one year of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a passion for hospitality. Aloft Hotels emphasizes a culture of inclusion and equal opportunity, encouraging applicants from all backgrounds to apply. The company values professionalism, adherence to company policies, confidentiality, and a polished appearance to contribute to a safe, efficient, and welcoming workplace.

At Aloft, bartenders become part of a global team within Marriott International, gaining access to career development opportunities and a workplace culture that supports personal and professional growth. If you’re eager to express your creativity, connect with diverse guests, and be part of a forward-thinking hotel brand, this bartender role offers a fulfilling career path that goes well beyond traditional expectations.
