The role of Blossom Bar Team Member at Rainbow Blossom is integral to delivering a positive customer experience in the store's Blossom Bar, where freshly prepared menu items are served. This position requires careful adherence to all food safety and quality standards to maintain the high expectations the company holds. Whether in a full-time capacity not exceeding 40 hours per week or part-time not exceeding 30 hours per week, team members play a vital role in customer satisfaction by preparing food items with precision and enthusiasm.

Team members must comfortably engage with customers, provide knowledgeable recommendations about the Blossom Bar offerings, and handle busy service periods with a calm and composed demeanor. Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the work area is crucial, as is following established policies for portion control and food handling to minimize waste. Employees are also required to obtain their Food Service Manager Certification within 90 days of hire, ensuring they understand and can implement safe food practices effectively.

Job Requirements

  • Food Service Manager Certification completed within 90 days of hire
  • able to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • able to lift frequently up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • able to work indoors in climate-controlled environments including walk-in coolers and freezers

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • customer service experience preferred
  • ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • knowledge of food safety principles preferred
  • Food Service Manager Certification within 90 days of hire

Job Duties

  • Maintain a positive attitude and the highest levels of professionalism
