Blender Operator

We are currently seeking a Blending Operator to join our team. This role involves the crucial responsibility of blending raw materials to create automotive and industrial lubricants according to precise specifications. As a Blending Operator, you will weigh and meter raw materials in tanks to ensure the correct formulation of our lubricant products. This position requires careful adherence to blend sheet instructions and safety protocols, operating and maintaining equipment within the assigned area. The role also involves teamwork under the direction of the Blending Supervisor and Lead, ensuring efficient and accurate product output.

The position is available primarily on the second shift, running from 4:00 PM to 1:30 AM, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays requiring your presence. Starting wages range from $16 to $18 per hour, depending on experience, with an additional $1 per hour night shift bonus offered to team members working these hours. Working as a Blending Operator at Pinnacle Oil Inc. involves a variety of tasks, including weighing and pumping drums into tanks, connecting rail cars for metering components, mixing tanks thoroughly, and taking samples for quality control approval. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in chemical mixing or blending but Pinnacle Oil Inc. is also open to training motivated individuals who meet the working condition criteria and demonstrate good mathematical skills and the ability to learn quickly. A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required, and candidates must be capable of performing basic mathematical conversions related to weights and measures. Drug and background checks are mandatory for employment consideration, as well as a stable work history.
